Welcome
“The question is asked in ignorance,
by one who does not even know
what can have led him to ask it.”
-Søren Kierkegaard, Philosophical Fragments (Propositio)
What is the nature of thought? How do men come to know things? What is mankind’s future? How can one achieve certainty of knowledge? Such questions and thousands more have emerged from the minds of thoughtful men and women considering themselves and the world, be it in a lecture hall or in moments of quiet contemplation. The pages of this site serve as a record of some of the thoughts on such topics that I have had, heard, considered, rejected, and improved upon.
“All men by nature desire to know.”
-Aristotle, Metaphysics (980a22)
